Visit Fees and Billing:
We are committed to personalized and holistic care for our patients.
Starting in January 2027, each visit type has a flat fee. Our fees include the work we do for you both before and after the appointment, such as reviewing records and labs, writing notes, making referrals, completing paperwork, and following up afterward. This is especially true for new patients, whose first visit involves the most preparation.
Visit lengths are approximate. Each scheduled length includes both your time with your physician and the time we spend outside the room, so the time reflected in your fee may not exactly match the time you spend in the office.
| Visit Type | Flat Fee | Scheduled Length |
|---|---|---|
| New Patient: Well Child Check | $360 | 60 min |
| New Patient: Integrative Medicine Consult, Child Under 12 Years | $360 | 60 min |
| New Patient: Integrative Medicine Consult, Age 12 and Older, Including Adults | $540 | 90 min |
| New Patient: OMM (Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine) | $360 | 60 min |
| Follow-Up | $180 | 30 min |
| Illness Visit (Short) | $90 | 15 min |
| Illness Visit (Standard) | $180 | 30 min |
| Established Patient: Well Child Check | $180 | 30 min |
| NAET | $90 | 15 min |
| OMM | Child $90; Adult $180 | Child 15 min; Adult 30 min (unless scheduled otherwise) |
If your visit runs long: The fee is prorated for the extra time ($90 per 15 minutes). Your physician will let you know if your appointment is exceeding your scheduled time; you may then choose to continue the visit or schedule another appointment to discuss additional questions/concerns.
⚠️ Important: Late Arrival Policy
If you arrive late: You will be billed for the full visit, and your visit will still end at the scheduled time. Ending on schedule allows us to give every patient the full amount of time they booked. The preparation and follow-up work for your visit is also the same whether you arrive on time or late. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule.
Virtual visits: Virtual appointments are billed at the same rates as in-person visits, as the physicians’ time, preparation, and follow-up are the same.
Who is considered a new patient: Established patients are considered new patients, and are scheduled and billed at new patient rates, if they have not been seen by our practice in 2 years or more.
Description of Visit Types:
New Patient visits: Include a comprehensive review of provided records (including prior testing, labs, and imaging), discussion of the patient’s health history and primary concerns, a pertinent physical exam, and detailed discussion of recommendations.
Follow-Up visits: For review and assessment of ongoing medical issues. Includes the revision of clinical recommendations and plans, including supplements, medications, and homeopathic protocols. New medical concerns or diagnoses may also be discussed at a Follow-Up visit; however, if new concerns are complex or extensive, they may require additional visits to discuss fully.
NAET visits: Intended to be for the NAET treatment itself. Changes to homeopathic protocols, supplements, and medications should typically be discussed at a Follow-Up visit.
Illness visits: For new or acute issues, such as illnesses or injuries.
Well Child Checks: Highly recommended annually for older toddlers and up and more frequently for infants and young toddlers (Birth, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 month, 4 month, 6 month, 9 month, 12 month, 15 month, 18 month, 24 month, 30 month, 36 month), these preventative care visits include a comprehensive review of your child’s health, including diet, sleep, bowel regimens, development, current supplements/medications and interval health history. Includes a complete physical exam, anticipatory guidance, and subsequent revisions to preventative wellness plans, supplements, and medications. May also include pertinent referrals to specialists, if necessary.
OMM: For the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal issues with gentle manual manipulation. Generally, not intended to include discussions about supplements, medications, or dietary modifications.
Cancellation Fees and No-Shows:
When you book an appointment, we reserve that time for you. Please give us at least 2 business days’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule so we can offer that time to another patient.
⚠️ Important: Cancellation & No-Show Fee Policy
| Cancellation | Fee |
|---|---|
| 2 or more business days | No charge |
| 1 business day | Half of visit fee |
| Same day | Full visit fee |
| No-show | Full visit fee |
Your credit card on file (see Payments) will be charged for no-shows and late cancellations.
📅 Important: Cancellation & Rescheduling
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, call 317-308-7184 (leave a voicemail) or email.
In the Office:
We have a strict no food or drink policy in our office because of allergy and sensitivity concerns. Please do not bring food or drinks other than water into the office. The only exceptions are bottles and breastmilk for infants.
Our visits are longer than most healthcare appointments. Please plan accordingly for children and bring toys or books to keep them comfortable and occupied.
Typically, we limit sibling appointments to 2 per day. If you are bringing more than 2 children to visits, please consider bringing a helper or arranging childcare.
To help patients with sensitivities, please avoid wearing heavy perfume, cologne, or other strongly scented products to your visit. Similarly, please also avoid smoking or vaping shortly before your visit. Lingering odors on clothing and hair can affect patients with sensitivities.
📞 Important: How to Reach Us with Medical Questions
Questions for our physicians can be sent by phone (317-308-7184) or email.
Phone and Email Messages and After-Hours Care:
🚨 Important: Emergencies and After-Hours Care
Emergencies: In the case of a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
We understand the value of your time, and a quick call or message can be convenient. Getting guidance from your physician can also save you money by helping you avoid an unnecessary trip to urgent care or the emergency room. When you reach out, you receive recommendations directly from your physicians, as we do not use outside nurse advice lines or answering services.
Fees: Medical questions and advice handled by phone or email outside of a visit are a medical service. For many concerns, a visit is the best way to obtain care, and our staff may recommend scheduling one. Should you choose not to make a visit (yet want a detailed response) or have a more complex request that involves extensive chart review, you may be charged a fee.
Response times: Non-urgent questions are answered as physician schedules allow and may take us up to one business week. Messages left after hours either by voicemail or email are reviewed when the office reopens and are answered based on urgency.
Urgent Medical Questions: Our physicians answer urgent medical questions as their schedules allow. Same-day sick visits are first come, first served, and we try to keep openings available each day. Please call during business hours so we can help as soon as possible.
After Hours Care: As a small practice, we do not provide after-hours advice or care. You may leave a message after hours; we will review messages when the office reopens. If you need care outside of office hours, please go to urgent care or the emergency room.
Paperwork and Forms:
📋 Important: Well Child Check Paperwork
For well child checks, please bring any forms you need completed to your visit so we can fill them out with you. For simple forms brought to visits, there is no additional fee.
Our office bills for the completion of certain forms and paperwork:
| Item | Fee |
|---|---|
| Daycare, camp, sports, physical forms, or FSA requests not brought to your visit | $30 per form |
| FMLA, disability, guardianship, and prior authorization paperwork | Based on time spent ($90 per 15 minutes) |
| Alternative vaccine schedules | Based on time spent ($90 per 15 minutes) |
School or work excuse notes are provided free of charge.
Some requests require extensive chart review, so please allow 2 weeks for form/paperwork completion. Requests that require a faster turnaround will incur a $30 rush fee in addition to any other fees, as listed above.
Lab Tests and Results:
Your physician may order lab tests as appropriate to your care. They review results as they arrive and will contact you if anything needs prompt attention. Otherwise, we review results at a scheduled follow-up visit. It is your responsibility to schedule a follow-up appointment to discuss your results. It is your responsibility to complete labs in time for your visit and to make sure the results have reached our office. Results from specialty test kits typically take about 4 weeks once the lab has received your sample. Please call us to schedule a lab review once you have completed a kit. There are exceptions to this timeframe, so please feel free to ask our staff if you have questions.
Payments and Insurance:
💳 Important: Payment Requirements
We accept cash, debit cards, personal checks, all major credit cards, and HSA cards. We do not offer payment plans. We do not accept or bill insurance. However, you will be provided with a superbill after each visit which you may self-file with your insurance or health share for out-of-network benefits. A valid credit card must be kept on file.
